One of my favorite pieces of literature is a poem by Walt Whitman entitled ‘O Me! O Life!’ The line - that the powerful play goes on, and you may contribute a verse - is one that I live by in my life and my work. I aim to capture the gift that my subject gives to the world, one which is special and unique to them. Whether by the written word, photo or film, I believe real power comes from true human connection. The power which allows us to share experiences, find hope, and heal our souls.
